Just as a point of interest (since the OP was answered well over), saying "If you don't know what you're talking about..." doesn't really work when the person says it with confidence, which said person who was under the impression it was boxing gloves, gave that impression.

Otherwise you give the impression that the person is making a wild guess, when in fact, they may firmly believe their statement. Or you expect them to somehow mystically know they're wrong.

Jeez I am not the only one who thought QQ was boxing gloves. I have seen that used in FPS's I used to play ages ago.

If some guy was hiding you'd say "QQ come out and fight"

Then again, I haven't seen it used like that in ages..

QQ is crying,

"QQ [Cry] more noob" is it's most common usage.

QQ is generally used to refer to a player who is complaining about something like lag or other perceived unfairness when getting dominated in PvP. Team Quitter's use of QQ as their tag presumably stems from the fact that quitters (or ragequitters) are often whiny jerks.
